Just watching after a few days. My heart went out to everyone who went through those tornadoes but now, hearing your personal experience, I am in tears. What strong, resilient people you are. I am in Manitoba, Canada and we have horrible blizzards followed by floods in the spring but we are forewarned and prepared for them. I can’t imagine not knowing or seeing a tornado coming and the destruction to homes and property. Keep safe and know that a lot of people are praying for you.

I'm watching the replay. I'm from a small community Chapman Kansas. Hit the town in 2008. My youngest son graduated that year. It took our elementary school, are Middle School, and High School. Then in 2016. Another tornado hit rural area Chapman, my oldest son's Farm home we are farmers. Everyone was safe. So I know how you feel Connie. Prayers for all of you.

Connie, I'm so sorry that you and your family are having to deal with these storms 😢 I've lived in Tulsa, El Paso, Kansas City MO, Tampa, Hutchinson Island FL, and in the Florida Panhandle. I know how terrifying the tornadoes and hurricanes are. I've lived with the earthquakes in California, and here in Utah, delt with flooding and fires. Some of those you can prepare for and others you can not. I hope that the kids will be able to have their play. I think about you and pray that you're safe when these things happen. Things can be replaced, not people. I'm so proud of you for your courage to go on live,(even though I watched the replay). I know it was hard, but rocked it girlfriend. He actually had a heart attack while he was living there & he is buried in Shawnee. The children in the school there my heart aches so bad for them. That is awful that they have been through so much. Their school years should be lots of fun & happy times as they work their way through school. That is very sad that they have lost so much due Covid & perhaps again due to tornados. Connie, I’m so glad that you’re OK. My heart breaks for your daughters community. I live in Canada and we haven’t had tornadoes anywhere is near where I live. I know that they have them in other places in Canada but I’ve been lucky. I can tell that you’re really shook up about this too, but God bless you for wanting to, be with your people and stamp and maybe take their minds off of some of this stress for a little while. I will be praying for your community and your state because yeah that’s scary stuff. .

Omg Connie, I’m so sorry to hear about the tornadoes I know it can be very scary, here in Fl. Where I live we usually get hurricanes but sometimes we get tornadoes. My prayers are with the communities that were hit by the tornadoes. I’m thankful that you and your family and your daughter’s students are ok. Buildings can be replaced but lives are so much more important. 🤗 ❤ By the way, this card is gorgeous and you did a fantastic job!
