Just thought of a way to actually make this useful: cut a serrated blade design into the blade of the pocket knife, but a food safe oil on it, and you got an herb stripper.

I made your old version for my boys, and they loved it. Although they summarily broke the locking mechanism by repeatedly stabbing a cardboard box. I think I'll make another one, but out of soft metals, and not get it sharp or too pointed. Thanks for the templates and build videos!

John, I appreciate you, Izzy, Mathias, and so many other creators. The only thing I don't see that I would absolutely love is a time declaration. A statement that while making the video, it took this long, without a video, you estimate a truer time, and with certain steps cut, it could be faster. I have yet to recall anyone saying it only took x hours.

One thing we did different. My 14 year old neighbor couldn’t cut the sides to match. So I cut two XL side pieces and drilled holes in all four corners and used toothpicks to dowel them together, glued the template on. Drilled all the holes and then cut the sides at the same time. The sides were a perfect match and the holes lined up perfectly (flaws and all) lol.
