How to make a wooden toy car - Woodturning

In this video I make a minimalistic toy car, out of iroko and basswood. This is a cool example of using the woodworking lathe to make toys.

What size dowel did you use for axels and what size drill bit did you drill for axels? Would like to make one for my grandkids. Cute car by the way👍

I think it was an 8mm dowel a 10 or 9mm bit!

Thank you. The axles are glued on the tires but not the body of the car. So they move freely. Sorry if my English are a bit awkward, I am Greek.
