Use the structure block to automate certain construction tasks. Creative mode is better for your construction. I know that craft mode includes more fun and time, especially like in the days of Minecraft on console which apparently offered a unique experience, but with the structure bloqmck, and accompanied by creative mode you can easily make your construction tasks easier. Personally, who builds under your dock with polished andesite blocks, I would have put a rock base underneath it and not directly the andesite slabs which serve as dock floors, and therefore place them above the ground. Even to make the big rectangular hole in the ground you can use a block structure to make a crossing, because with the block structure you can record an empty area that can be used as an eraser.

This is a good build, but I’m not adding this to my city because there’s 2 trains and you use a mine cart. Also you’re on Java but I’m on bedrock and I don’t have extra layers.
