Being new to crafting I never made a swag/centerpiece before but want to try. I’ve learned so much from watching your videos. This is where I learned to make wreaths. Now I have to watch how to make bows. When it comes to decorating I don’t have a theme. Usually the typical greens, reds and whites. Absolutely gorgeous, I love your decor in your home. I made several Christmas centerpieces using green, red, white & and i embellished them with gold mini ornaments. I used small glass vases to put the candles in.

You could also use green candles or red candles to bring out the red in the holly ribbon. So pretty, I've never made one but I think I'm going to given it a try.

I love traditional Christmas colors but also like to decorate one room in a non traditional way. This year I chose pink, silver, and white for the dining room and it looks so pretty! Yes I made a centerpiece with a yard stick. I used a white/red plaid burlap deco mesh and a pretty white deco mesh. In the center I put a square floral foam and put red and silver pics and covered the sides of it with red ribbon. On each bundle I put beautiful nutcracker ribbon with a red/gold ornament to cover the pipe cleaner. On either side of the floral foam I glued a small silver ornament. Some of the pics were glittery and shiny. So pretty. I did add some flowers 🌺 for coverage. I put it on a ledge above our kitchen sink. It’s a pass through window that looks into our living room. I don’t want to take it down 😢 I hope u had a nice holiday. See u n your next video. 💕 Victoria

Beautiful! I have not done a yardstick base YET. Such pretty earings you have! I got rid of my traditional Christmas decor before I moved. Oh, how I regret that now that I know I can change colors with paint. I am still unpacking, so not decorating much. My guest bathroom looked lovely for fall, but the fall colors are a challenge for Christmas unless I brought and find my white shower curtain. I am thinking hard about how to incorporate browns with pinecones, cinnamon sticks and snowmen. (I can't see gingerbread for a bathroom!)

Hi Nadia, your yardstick candle center piece is beautiful. My sister and I wanted to do woodland themed decorations on the tree this year. But it hasn't been a good fall season for either of us medically so our plans have been put aside until next year (we hope). We are going to put up our tree and will be decorating it but not sure what colors yet. My kids and grandkids will be coming over on Christmas day for a few hours.

In 2022 my Christmas tree theme was mauve and navy blue with silver accents. In 2023 my Christmas tree theme will be pink and red hearts with silver accents. I will start crafting in September or October. Hope to find some ideas along the way.

I don't attach them, they usually stay pretty steady when the swag is displayed on my coffee table 🤗
