How to Make Agave Rope! with Detailed Steps

Here’s another look at making cordage or rope from plants like agaves and yuccas. Even aloe has strands that can be useful but you just have to be careful with some of these plants having an irritable chemical goo that gets on your hands when processing. Just wear gloves to be safe. Pretty cool possibilities in the desert.

Hi, I like the vedio. The question is : If you have interest in the water would stil grill the leaves ? I did it by smashing / crushing the leafs and got a lot of useful juice out of it.

How long did you roast the leaf?

Just a couple of minutes, both sides. The juices will begin to boil out and it blackens.
