OMGosh!!! I can't get over how absolutely talented and creative you are...I have literally spent the last week watching the tutorials on this album, and have cut and scored 2 albums ready to decorate and assemble... So much fun - I've been a crafter all my life and have always been drawn to paper - I think I won the lottery when I found you here on You-Tube. I Love your work so much - I want to jump on a plane and come to Norway to do an "International" project with you!!! I just want you to know that you have inspired me in so many ways... Thanks so much, Michelle

You have inspired me! Your tutorials are very easy to follow along. I appreciate you sharing your talent. I have one question, where do you find your chipboard that is strong enough for the binding? The only chipboard I can find locally is not much thicker than cardstock.

Beth M book board from a good art shop - tim holtz grunge board can be too thin.... remember as you cover it you are making it thicker therefore stronger and sturdier

Anna, thanks so much again for this really amazing tutorial. You are so sweet. I couldn't find the Sizzix 3-D door die you made for the front of the house. It was designed by Karen Burniston and she no longer designs for them. It appears to be retired. In case this is helpful for anyone, I found the new door die from Sizzix by Tim Holtz. It is wider than the "pediment" die Anna uses to place on top of the KB door die, but you can shave off/trim down the door die cut with the new TH die on the sides so it will fit with the Pediment die. Also, if you look at the tutorial for Karen's die on Sizzix.com website, she shows you how to literally take any door die and turn it into a door that opens/closes. She also shows you how to make the door molding look more dimensional. I think if you watch that video, you'll be able to make a door similar to Anna's if you don't have the orignal Karen Burniston 3-D door die by Sizzix.

I got lost, what is the measurements for the teal paper? Thank you for sharing how to make this mini, your work is amazing. It's very kind of you.
@covid-19inthistogether9610 жыл бұрын
I just re-watched the video and wrote down the measurements. For the page, you cut 8 3/4 x 8 3/4. You need two of these to make one page with a pocket. Score at 1/2" on left side and bottom side. The left side becomes the binding side and the right side is for the pocket insert. The pocket insert is cut at 8 1/4 x 8 and the matte for this is 8" x 7 3/4".

Great work! Where can I find those Diamond Dies?
@covid-19inthistogether9610 жыл бұрын
You can find them here at a Wordpress blog: diemonddies.com The "bare tree" and the "fence" that Anna used are sold out but my fav, the spider web that fits on the page corners is still for sale. I made the mistake of typing "diamond dies" but they spell it "diemond" but at any rate, the full URL is above. They accept pay pal. My order arrived about a week and a half after I placed my order. The quality is very good.
