Low profile because nothing keep the turning mechanism safe you couldn't actually waer it for like a day with clothes on the turning mechanish not enclosed so it can turn and turn like threads clothes yarn etc which you can probably imagine how god turning things and yarn/threads to when intereact with eact other... also the pull is gigantic howw cna u use that on your hand, your hand telecopes out to activate the blade?

I hate to burst both of your bubbles, but this design is no one's specifically. No one can prove whether imdeepain or amnra made their design first, because the sinza weapons forums were full of these long before youtube came along. Otf knives have always had this mechanism

this is the first hidden blade vid i have seen that doesn't have a ridiculously big action, like its effectively a switch blade but every video on the subject is a huge brick sized mechanism

@@morallygray6527 that’s not a bad idea, but I’m looking for something a bit cheaper and easy to work with if you don’t have a garage or workshop. Plus I’m not really wanting to make one that’s real and could actually hurt someone, I’m more wanting to make a functional prop for personal use. I’ve actually found that I can use a clear plastic storage tote and cut it apart with some scissors designed for cutting plastic sheets. This will let me make one that’s pretty durable and sturdy, but also flexible so it won’t snap, yet will still function well

Warning - If you are making one then remember to use it carefully because if the wrist comes in the path of blade then it could lead to serious problems.
