You can get the cable holders (the little black things) at home Depot or lowes. Also here's a great tip for tubing, cut some lengths and insert a pipe cleaner, then cut whatever length you needing. Hot glue ends so pipe cleaner won't come out..then you can use a pencil to curl, hot glue say a ball/bead at the show end. It looks just like the curly green, purple , gold things with the balls on end that Lori used.

I don't know how I missed this one but you just saved my hair. It's thin enough but I've been pulling at it trying to figure out a way to use this thin 21 inch mesh I have. Edit : When I wrote that I hadn't seen the entire finished product. O . M . G !!!!!! That is a BEAST !!! I absolutely LOVE it. I haven't done a Mardi Gras wreath because I didn't figure anyone in this area would buy one. Well now I' m going to have to make one and not care if someone doesn't buy it because I could sit and stare at that ALL day !

Oh my God Lori....you are a wreath making genius!! I remember seeing the comment where someone asked if you could do a pouf and ruffle method and I thought she just meant if you could do both on one wreath. My brain was hurting for days lol....but you made the impossible a reality!! Great job and I wish I didn't order one 21inch mesh with 4 10inch wide foil mesh for the candy land wreath cause I was going to do the pouf with ruffles and curls in one😔 This method was meant for a candy land wreath so I might return and reorder from Craft Outlet. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us cause you could easily make us pay but that's not who you are....we all love and support you!!💕💕

Turned out great! I was also thinking, my mind got going when u said there's a different way, lol, so since this is Mardi gra it's all out like u said and honestly you could do it with any occasion, but if u wanted to tame down the ruffles you could make the ruffles smaller and that would make the pouf a little bigger. And I think thatd be cute to!!! Great job!!!!

Where does one get the mesh and wreath forms? Does your mesh fray and shed pieces?
@craftingwithhwm4 жыл бұрын
You can get the mesh and wreath forms from Craft Outlet, Trendy Tree, and The Wreath Shop which are all online. As for fraying, some is normal but it really depends on where you get it from. Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby Mesh frays a lot. The places I recommended have the best quality mesh. I usually try not to handle the mesh as much as possible and I trim away the frays at the very end. I hope that helps. Thank you, Lori.

Its really your option, don't forget. Many people don't, a lot of people like the colors and decoration. You could make it with just the mesh if you like the colors go for yours and don't worry you'll do great.
