Super cute card! I like the idea of using a template and adding chalk for dimension. I use mostly ink, but this is a great idea! Have you ever tried using a sponge eye shadow applicator to either smudge the chalk around or possibly rub it on your ckalk stick and then apply it to the paper? Also,if you lightly spray the chalk (after it's applied to the paper) with any (cheap) hairspray, that will set the chalk.

Thank you for the tips. I tried the eye applicator by directly using it on the soft pastel itself which didn't work. I will have to try to smudge it around and then dip the eye applicator on it. I will definitely try the hairspray idea too. Thanks for the tips! I learn so much from others. 😊

@@DonnaMiller I wasn't sure if the eye applicator would work directly with the chalk, just a thought! I have learned so much from others, too! Take care.
