How To Make An Easy Low Cost Rustic Picture Frame

In this DIY pallet wood project I use a cheap, store bought clip frame and transform it with aid of scap pallet wood into a rustic picture frame. It will complement any artwork or image.

I just used your finishing technique for my fishing rod holder, just rubbed the linseed oil onto the timber, i will give it a few hours then use beeswax as the final coating.

Fantastic! I use my own paste wax for finishing which is 1 part beeswax 2 parts linseed oil melted together

I like this frame. It is visually attractive. I worry that it will be strong enough since only glue was used to join the stiles and rails. Do the joints still seem strong enough to stand the test of time?
