I just watched this one again, to get my English Garden fix (the first time I watched it, I actually gasped at the finished arrangement "reveal"). It's sooooo lovely and romantic. Really great tips & tricks in this episode (I think I say that every week, too!). For example, I didn't know you could get coated chicken wire. Is it available in a retail store or would we order from you? Looking forward to tomorrow's episode!

You are so kind and I’m so glad you are enjoying some benefit from the episodes! I would be happy to source some coated chicken wire for you. It comes in a large roll and you may just want to purchase a slice of mine! 🥰

Personally I love an open Rose the buds are okay but I'll take them open Rose any day I don't care tulips and roses go so well together if you ask me and I also like the greenery plumosa which a lot of people don't know about when I was a kid I used to see roses delivered and they would have this beautiful Fern and it was so light and Airy is so when I got in the business I love plumosa a lot of people call it asparagus I believe but I like the plumosa very feather-like airy and it just dances coming out of an arrangement
@creativeoccasionseventsflo80759 ай бұрын
YES! Open roses are the best, aren't they?!? And, the real sign of spring for me is tulips! One of my all time favorite flowers! I also like plumosa fern; it is certainly wispy and airy like you've described. But it can be really bad about shedding, so we're careful about using it in designs that are near food or food service. I so appreciate your comments and am so glad you found my channel! Cheers!

@@creativeoccasionseventsflo8075 well good or bad I kind of cheat with Formosa if I do use it I haven't used it in a while myself but I used to spray a little bit of spray adhesive on it and I also do that with Fuji moms when I say spray adhesive I do it very lightly and it seems to work perfectly for me when I was I'm retired now but I still do things on the side of course so I like your channel I will continue to watch it and thank you
@creativeoccasionseventsflo80759 ай бұрын
@@jamesredd7416 that's not considered cheating! It's just one of the tricks of the trade!! Glad you're still interested in flowers. It's hard to get it out of your blood, isn't it?! Take care and thanks again for watching!

HI! So why did you use a shear for cutting the hydrangeas, then you use knife for the roses!!! Thank you! George
@creativeoccasionseventsflo8075 Жыл бұрын
Hi George! Thank you so much for watching and for your excellent question! In this case, it would have been the thickness of the hydrangea stem that I thought the shear would have worked better. Sometimes, the floral knife just won't work as well! Thanks again! Mark
