For any curve lines of the pattern drafting, I use French curve ruler to draw all curve lines on pattern drafting. you can buy it in Amazon.

If you meant the paper tape , yes, it is next to the needle and stitch. It is to help prevent the top layer of fabric/material from stretching out.

Beautiful jacket unlined jacket, but not using Chanel techniques, as Chanel jackets are quilted to their linings and do not have facings, with the lining being hand stitched around the edges, a time consuming technique which is one of the reasons they cost so much. Suggest you watch Claire Schaeffers channel as she shows the internal structures of a number of couture jackets.

Thanks for your recommendation. Yes, the traditional Chanel jacket used lots of complicated techniques, such as hand-stitching metal chain on hem. Alteration used to be very complex. However, recent 8 years, they’ve had some changes. Now they also use some simpler methods for their ready-wear. This might be the concern of costing.
