Hello! 😍 Thanks. Making your first jacket is daunting. I made sure I was using a cheaper fabric, so I wasn't stressed about wasting expensive fabric, and I just focused on one step at a time. 🧵🧥🌸

Thank you for showing how you make jacket using this pattern. I just got the same pattern but I’m afraid to cut my fabric. I’m glad I found your channel. ❤

Make the jacket out. of (relatively cheap) cotton canvas first, that way you'll know it fits and be sure you know how to do the pattern before you cut into your expensive tweed. 🌻🧥🎨🌼🧵

Thank you! Finishing my first cardigan jacket and starting my second tailored. The difference is huge but I’m learning. I’ll use some of this when I start my next cardigan jacket.

Interfacing onlu works with fashion fabrics. With wools and tweeds you should use canvas, hair canvas or netting. Netting is lighter but has the strength of hair canvas. It was used in vintage Dior garments,
