Nice demo! Thank you! So, again, why do you have the blue bar in the intro?
@WillChidlow3 жыл бұрын
Hey Oliver, thanks for watching! I use the blue bar at the beginning so i can keep the full music intro of my intro song. If you watch any of my videos you'll see that i record an intro of me talking and my intro music starts whilst im still talking and then the intro starts as the song drops. I achive this by placing my intro underneath my talking section so the blue bar is never seen but i can utilise the music. of course the bar does not need to be blue and this is totally optional but it has worked well for me. hope that explains it clearly. many thanks

Question... you spoke about having music start while talking leading into intro vide . could you explain how to blend that in in more detail ?
@WillChidlow3 жыл бұрын
Hey Terrance, I save out the intro with the whole of the tracks introduction (thats why i use the blue solid in this tutorial) then I add a solid to my timeline where i want my into to appear. I set the solids oppacity to 0% and place my into clip underneath the timeline and line them up to my liking. This way you can hear the music start underneath the talking and then the intro kicks in. Find me on instagram and drop me a message if this still doesnt make sense, its hard to explain but i can send you a picture and you'll see its actually quite simple. hope that helps 🙏👍😎

Hey, so this is a very amateur question so forgive me, but now that I have this project with this awesome intro, how do I add this to each new project? Do I just copy and past all the layers into each new project? Do I turn it into a compound clip? Do I turn it into an mp4 and import the media? Thanks for all your help.
@WillChidlow6 жыл бұрын
Hey 👋 not an amateur question at all! What I have done is export the finished intro as video (.mov etc) and then you can simply import this to each new library you create. This way you never have to worry that you have accidentally changed anything in the intro and I find it is generally easier to manage. Hope that helps 👍🙏😎
@WillChidlow6 жыл бұрын
Also... when you come to add the intro into your project timeline I have found the easiest way is to add a custom solid into the timeline where you want your into to be, then drop the opacity of the solid to 0%. You can then drag your intro video underneath your main timeline. This way your intro music can start over your pre intro bit and your intro can then kick in when your intro properly starts. Hope that makes sense? 🤷♂️😎👍

Yoooo!!! This video was so helpful. It needed to be this long so don't worry about that. I created my own intro following these steps exactly. Check it out and let me know what you think. - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZTLq2SngtOhh9U

I feel totally professional now and ready to start really uploading some content. Been sitting on starting this channel for months but now I am so excited about my intro, I will be knocking out videos left and right.

This is so AWESOME! Or should i say "Now that's DOPE" 😂 Really pleased you found the tutorial helpful and what you have created is very cool! Good luck with your channel, if your content is as good as your intro then you will have a super channel. Keep up the good work and thanks so much for sharing with me 👍👌🙌
