Your accent is actually lovely and comes across very natural and neutral. Some call it acting I call it being professional, because I too have a professional voice at work. 🌼

Hi teacher ZA. I am currently in China studying, coming home soon. I've been teaching part time at training centers and kindergartens but I don't have a degree yet but I am busy with my TEFL. Do you think I can stand a chance?
@eslwithaz62013 жыл бұрын
Hi Nofanelo! 😊 The industry is saturated, and lots of people are finding it hard to get hired... But I think that your teaching experience in China is a bonus and will set you apart (at least in my opinion). Secure your TEFL certificate and start applying. PS: This is purely my opinion. I don't have experience teaching brick and mortar in China. I would suggest that you join a South African ESL online teachers Facebook group. That way you can post your concerns, and get responses from people who have been in your situation. I hope this helped 🌈

I didn't know about that American accent thing but I noticed, while watching Cambly review vids, that all the teachers, I mean ALL the teachers - even British teachers- spoke with an American accent. 😂😂😂 Okay American accent it is, got it 😜

Hi i have a tiny nose ring .. Will that be a problem.. Its part of my culture.
@eslwithaz62012 жыл бұрын
Hello, Rosan! There could very well be some companies that allow nose rings which I'm unaware of... But from my experience, all companies I've come across forbid facial piercings (earrings on females are an exception) and any visible tattoos.
