Great idea for the rotary blades. I do the same and I have one for fabric and another for “other” materials. I get a lot of use out of my blades that way. I’m a Realtor and carry everything in my bag so this is an awesome idea for me. Sometimes I don’t want to carry everything in my purse. I can leave it in the car and that way I only carry in with me paperwork, Ipad and such.

What sewing machine do you use to make your bags?
@janej6253

Hello Lynn! Your bags are fantastic! This organizer is amazing as well. I’ve been pondering over this organizer for a couple of months and have been wondering how I could construct it to carry a hand gun discretely for women who carry hand guns for personal protection. Many women with concealed carry licenses don’t have a place to put the gun in their handbags except floating in the bottom somewhere which I’ve considered to be a bit scary!! Would I need to use a sturdier interfacing and if so, what would you suggest? Would it be too “fumbly” to put a flap over the actual gun pocket? Where would you put the pocket? Thank you so much for any guidance you might be willing to share with me.
@VickiLeeBagsbyLynne
@VickiLeeBagsbyLynne 5 жыл бұрын
I would not carry a gun in a reg bag. I make conceal and carry bags where in the outside rear of the bag has a zipper pocket, for the gun. the zipper goes up and down instead of across. If you care to you can go to Vicki Lee Bags Facebook Page and I will post it today. Thanks for your question...

would you be able to do a tutorial on the bag that you took a picture of for your Facebook page on June 20, 2016 Love that bag and I have made almost everyone of your bags so far and then I end up giving it to my Mom as she loves all your bags as well. LOL I made one that I told her you can't have, because I love it that much. Thank you for all your tutorials because they are so easy to follow along. One question for you if I may? when you design your bags and you have a finish size in mind, how do you account for the box corners so it stays the size a person would like? Thank you. ;-)

Hello Karen. Thanks so much. Glad you are enjoying our videos. Happy Mothers Day !... Well your question is a good one...You should lose that size of the finished gusset on the bottom width... And a bout a half inch off the height? .. lol This is what it is for me... Now, account for seam size and other variables. Maybe make a mock paper pattern? ...

What other sizes did you make? Like the purple one. What size is it? I ask, because it looks a little taller & the other one looked wider.
