Too complicated. I got halfway through and gave up. The folds started to have a mind of their own. Great video nevertheless! I hope someone makes it all the way through.

Hi there; I do have an idea for you if you’d like - especially if you have a DAISO store near you, because that’s where I get my origami paper! Since my hubby started working from home and I had to keep things quiet, I did pick up origami by watching a bunch of YT vids. I can guarantee you I’ve lost TONS of paper! The DAISO store has all kinds of super-cheap and beautiful origami paper, most at only $1.50 for each pack! Many different sizes, too! The lesser quality/super-cartoony paper usually have more to a package, and the really interesting ones, such as beautiful textures and hard to find colors (like double-sided colors) might be fewer to a package. Play around with some and you will find out what type of paper you personally like - and you will also find out that certain paper types are better for some designs than others. Also get one of those cheap paper cutters (got one from Amazon for about $10; I didn’t need anything giant!) and some good rulers (a few sizes are great). Even with buying better quality origami paper, the cutting may not have been exact. I always measure mine before starting. Doing awesome creases are made easier with a “bone folder,” also on Amazon and other places. If you don’t have a DAISO store near you, you could try at a craft store or looking online - but BEWARE about getting origami paper via Amazon! Too expensive! Unless it’s a super tough to find design that I know I work well with, my personal rule is to never spend more than maybe $5 for a pack of paper! I do use the cheaper stuff for practice, then I can go to a better quality paper when I am confident enough. I do wish you success in your future origami!!
