Thank you for this tutorial - the instructions are clear, your diction is clear, you don't waste words, the speed is just right, and there is no annoying music. The V-neck fold was a bit hard at first but after two or three times it just happened like magic. I think the secret is getting the first collar folds straight.

Awesome, thank you so much. I just made one on my second try ( the first looked plus sized because i didn't use square paper). I used purple construction paper and colored one side since it wasn't patterned. I am so excited, I will be using the one I just made for my 4 year old son project of his family as my dress. It is perfect.

I got up until the V neck bit, then I couldn't figure out what to do. It needs a bit more explaining there.

I had the same problem. I kept rewinding to figure it out! I think I have got it. The fold that looked like a v neck in the front is the the slack you use to fold it flat with. It should run flat, almost horizontally at the point where the V neck starts. If your looking at the back. I hope that helps. Good luck!:-)

Both formats work. If you use a square, you get a summer dress. If you use a rectangle, you get a long dress.
