DARLING! I saw these years ago and then lost the pattern I had. I just sat and made three as I watched you a couple of times. It's much harder with heavier scrapbook paper.. so I'll stick to the lighter weight papers. Love how you stamped on the one. Just made my sister a little sewing themed folio, to hold some button cards, tags and "handmade by" tags.. so one that I made, using 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 paper will be perfect for a paperclip inside! TFS

These are WONDERFUL, Gi! I make these, too, but I never thought to embellish them as you have. I love that you’ve taken this sweet origami dress to the next level. As I replied to another commenter, I fold the waist a little higher so the bodice is shorter than the skirt. I like those dimensions better than folding in half. And I fold the collar so the points are in front, not in back. I just love these little dresses, and have given them away at meetings and church tea parties. They are super cute and super easy to make. I’ll definitely be embellishing the ones that are currently in my stash. Thank you, dear! 😍

What kind of paper did you use for the dresses? Looks tea stained and not too thick. I’ve made a couple practice ones from copier paper (20#). Seems like it would be hard using anything much heavier. Thank you. They are so cute!

OMG, I have been looking for something like this for a long long time but have failed to find one that is as easy as you have made it. I made one along with you on my 2nd time in re-watching, with just plain paper, and it turned out great. I did start with the 8X8 too. Will attempt a couple more at this size then start to go down. These would look terrific in an album, folio, card, wherever. TYSMFS. Be safe

I just did it with you & I want to commend you for the ease of your instructions. I won’t say who but I was following somebody‘s instructions with something else day before yesterday and I was so frustrated with all the measurements (wasn’t working) I assumed I was just to stupid & quit for the day. I finally watch to the end of the recording and she corrected herself ugh! so I will not visit her again you were fantastic thank you.
