Hi guys just to save people some time since I'm taking a while to answer questions: two common questions are 'how do I change it to osu!mania mode?' and 'how do I change it to 4K mode?': - 2:37 in the video shows how to change the map to osu!mania mode! - 3:35 in the video shows how to change the map's key count! Sorry for late responses to questions, I'm currently studying so haven't had a lot of time to come and check out the YT channel!

We used to map together but then disaster stroke Quick Draw or Quack Draw went to Japan for 2D anime girls leaving Australian nation after hearing the country bans anime. Japanese people eventually cured his needs for anime. Ever since then a mystery remains unsolved....What will happen with future quack draw maps will they remain garbage or will he fully embrace anime songs

For the timing stuff if you chose a song like GROOVE BUSTER like me you can search up the bpm. btw for groove buster its 112bpm

Whenever i try to open an osu!mania map (that has already an osu version) it just opens the osu mode, and i don't find the way to change it. Is there a way to get it?

Hey Isaac, it sounds like you might be trying to open 'auto convert' osu!mania maps. The osu! engine actually automatically generates osu!mania maps from osu! maps, so although it SEEMS like that map has an osu!mania version, it's actually just the automatically generated one that all osu! standard maps have when you select to play them in osu!mania mode!

Hi I'm not too sure about this one! I'll look into it! My first thought is that maybe the maps you're hearing the release sound in are auto converted standard maps? I've never heard a sound at the end of a long note in a mania specific map before, so please link me an example if you have one and I'll look into it! Off the top of my head one way you could do it would be by manually placing sound samples at the end of the long notes when you're hitsounding your beatmap~

Everytime I try to drag the file. It says it is probably in use in another application. I simply used a KZbin to mp3 converter but it won't work to make it a beatmap. It just doesn't want to work.

Hi PotaeToes, In my experience there are a number of problems which could cause this including storyboarding, hitsound, video file and audio filetype problems. It can be a real pain to diagnose, but the thing that has caused this the most often for people who have asked me in the past is problems with a video file. I'd try removing the video if there is one, then trying to run the map.

It would depend on what happens when you try to test it. If it just seems to load forever, it's usually a problem with a video file in my experience! Try removing the video file from the map folder if there is one

This can be quite advanced to pull off well! If you want the scroll speed to increase with the BPM then all you need to do is add more timing points the same way I did in this video, but if you want the scroll speed to stay the same, use the method I provided in my video "Scroll Speed Normalization" (sorry for the late response, since it's Uni semester time I haven't been online).

What is the requirements for background video? I mean, the filesize or type of video(.mp4/.avi and etc)... Because when I tried to put a video, it doesn't appear.

That's a good question! Background videos should be in the .avi or .mp4 formats. Try to remove the audio using a tool like 'avidemux' or 'ffmpeg' too to reduce the file size and make it more appropriate for osu!. If an avi or mp4 aren't showing up as your background the only thing I can think of is that the actual video encoding is of an unusual type. Again, if you use one of the previously mentioned tools to export it with a more standard video codec it should work :) [Also, like with a background you can just drag and drop a video file onto the map while you have it open in the editor to make it the background video]. EDIT: The file size should be able to be any size you want, but to submit it online the whole map (all files including audio and video) can be no larger than 25mb [or 100mb for a marathon]

Hi fvrex, sorry for the late response, it's been exam period so I haven't checked my YT channel in a while! To get custom hitsounds you need to edit the sounds in your skin's folder. This can be complicated, as each sound in the game has a specific file name you need to use to override it. The best way to get custom hitsounds to start with is to find a skin that uses them already, and then if you have a sound file you think would sound nicer, replace all the files in that skin folder with your new sound (keeping their file names the same).

Hi Duke, those are called "SV" or "Slider Velocity" points. You can add them in the timing points section. It can be complicated to do those though! I might make a tutorial for that in the future :)

Dw there are no stupid questions! Anyway, you wanna go into the song setup tab you see in the beginning of making the beatmap, then you go into "advanced" and there is an option called "allowed modes" and there you can choose osu!mania.

Hi t, unfortunately I'm not too familiar with this problem. It could be something simple like osu! somehow not having administrator privilages to modify the song file... or maybe just a random osu glitch. Let me know if you ever figure out what the cause was!
