This video sells Machine units much better than any Black Friday deal, we deservedly so. (Commenting as an MPC user myself...). Very cool production technique. So many tricks packed in one tutorial. I particularly enjoy how layering in this context doesn't get overly messy after a few minutes, the base groove keeps pulsing through.

Very well put together and inspiring! Especially like the „do not overthink“-attitude. So many tutorials nowadays question how to mix perfectly and which dozens plugins to use to get the sound surgically correct. This led to an analysis paralysis situation for me, and that’s exactly why I went back to use Maschine much more for my sketches than Ableton. Just having fun throwing ideas out, not overanalysing all the time and getting stuck in Mixing work while composing.

Thank you for a great video! There is a lot to unpack here, however you laid it all out. It's been amazing to see Maschine come to life over these last few years; and now it's doing everything I had hoped it would be able to do back then. Free Patterns, Audio Sampling, Editing have been very significant developments - also NKS - it's so great to use hardware for music production rather than a mouse. For those songwriters coming from another more traditional DAW, maybe this (oversimplification?) will help wrap your head around the Maschine workflow: In Maschine, a "SOUND" = track in a DAW; a "GROUP" is a bus / aux track; and "PATTERNS" in the Ideas View in Maschine are where you can create and build upon 'takes.' Cheers! 🔥💯 -Freddy Matthews, New Rock, Reggae-Rock, (soon to be some house music!) Much Love!!

Man, I wish you had a video tutorial out, on working with Maschine ! You have a firm grasp on it, and seem to know how to "break it down" well... But I do have to say, the latest Maschine tutorials from Boris have taught me a thing or 2 , (the three-part video) it was cool of him & Native Instruments to make that, it's pretty much all you need to know
