Great idea! and an even more cheaper option guys if you don't want to fork out on a light; use your phone flashlight and rest ontop of SAB ;]

For the site ring iron you can take a scalpel blade and put it in place of the standard tip🍄❤️

was thinking of a cut out for some clear glass just for clarity ,don't like hazy vision.

That's a good idea! A rectangle piece of glass or plexiglass on the front panel, above the two round holes would be pretty easy to do. If you use a thin piece of plexiglass you can make it the size of the whole front panel and cut/melt the holes into the plexiglass. Thicker plexiglass is hard and brittle... But good idea. Thanks!

What is the square hole in the corner? (I didn’t see that mentioned)

What is the success rate with your SAB so far?

It's so good that haven't been able to justify getting a Laminar Flow Hood. I'd say 95%+ I do this as a hobby so it's not a piece of equipment that I would use every day. If I was a comercial grower, I'd build a Flow Hood.

No worries. It's a stainless steel straw cut short with a metal chopstick inside to push the Agar piece out. You can use another straw that fits inside as well. Real easy to make. It's cool because you don't have to fumble around with a scalpel or x-acto. I have a video on it in the Full Course.
