@@foodtryp9423 As mentioned in the Kitchen Aid manual itself...it only advisable to go max up to speed 2 when kneading dough...you might spoiled the machine motor... Pls go through the manual

I have the same mixer but after 2-3 min of the mixing the machine whopping vigorously. I called the service department, they said that the machine is designed for maximum 4 min on kneading a bread dough. Does your machine has this problem? How do you keep it working for 10 minutes? Thanks.

Thank you so much, my friend. My machine works well. If you are having problem with your mixer, just knead the dough using the mixer from speed 2, then gradually increase to speed 4, then speed 6. Just knead it until the dough does not stick on the bowl. then transfer to your work surface and lightly knead.

@@angelineho3403 That is right, as per manufacturer's instructions, we are NOT supposed to use KA beyond speed 2, it will wreck the motor. The dough hook is supposed to mimick kneading by hand, hence mixing at higher speed will shear the dough.

Hello from South Africa. Pls can u help with advice. I have tried every way and recipe under the sun to the "T" and after even 30 min!!!!!!!!! of kneading in my stand mixer the dough still seems dry and breaks with the stretch test. Pls help. I'm begging you.

Hello. Good morning. Thank you so much for watching. If your dough is dry, try to add one to two teaspoons of water at a time. If your dough is too sticky, dry adding flour one to two tablespoons at a time. Cover your dough for two to three minutes with a clean tea towel and let it rest and then knead until it becomes soft and pliable. Good luck 🍀

hello, pag umpisa po, lowest speed lang para di tumalsik ang mga laman. tapos increase one speed at a time. pag na-mix na lahat at happy ka na sa texture, stop na and then knead for a few minutes. medyo uminit ang mixer konti pero keri lang naman. maraming salamat.

i let the mixer do the mixing at first, and then i kneaded it by hands to get a perfect, soft dough. but if you want the mixer to do the mixing, that is fine too. happy baking
