@@Prod.JayMadeThis so you need a single cycle oscillator and like 3-15 D class rectifier+amplifier circuits, an envelope full of graphene shavings and a few months of spare time to do this… TRUST ME it’s not worth it

Thank You for your time. but@38:00 * an 11th for Harmonic minor chord is actually 0-3-7-10-14-17* the 11th is the 17 opposed to the 21 code you've mention. 21 will be the extended 13th chord.

@busyworksbeats I got the akai mpk249 and it came with ableton live lite I also purchased the xpand vst like you mentioned and I’m having trouble figuring out what sounds I should be using I’m into hip hop/trap and boom bap…I could definitely use a little guidance

is there a way to be able to place multiple major notes on the piano roll? when I select a chord it lets me drop one in and then goes back to regular notes, is there a shortcut way to keep placing chords with the pencil? (besides placing, selecting and duplicating)

I downloaded FL because I enjoy music and also hear note/create tunes in my mind producing is an all together challenging and complex effort. But, when I walk away from what I did then come back to it I naturally get it right and become confused, lol!

Back in the day when it was first created as Fruity Loops, it was designed for hip hop. That's why by default it still boots up with four 808 sounds. FL has always been the hip hop DAW, unlike the others. ProTools was made for live instruments (rock), Ableton for techno/EDM etc. Fruity Loops was literally made for drum loops. It started as a hip hop beat maker, but they added features for fans of other genres.
