you are very welcome. I usually leave those in on purpose. I've taught a lot of people over the years and I find that a lot of my students are way too hard on themselves, especially when they are starting out. We all make mistakes, and it's particularly true with decorating. Sometimes the frosting just has a mind of it's own and we all have those days when it won't behave. But we can learn the most from those days and the mistakes we make because they give us an opportunity to learn how to fix them and an overall better learning experience. So, I'm glad to hear that it helps. Just keep in mind that even experts make mistakes, a large part of being a professional is knowing how to handle problems when they happen which only comes with experience. Every mistake, error or problem we have is just a chance to help build our skills set and a step towards mastering your craft. Keep going and Happy Decorating!

How did you fill the Russian/Wilton tip with the yellow in the middle?

Hi! If you want to stripe the bag and have yellow in the middle. If find it best to fold the bag over a cup while loading up the colors. I usually use a tapered spatula to apply the color to the surface of the bag(you can go solid or with multiple shades) and leave a hole in the middle. I use either the same spatula or something skinny like a chopstick to gently feed the yellow in the middle. You can also use another bag to pipe a line of yellow in the middle if that gives you more control. Hope this helps!

Would you mind giving out the buttercream recipe you use for your piping? I find that the one I use is too soft.

Hi Stephanie, We are using a simple or American style buttercream in this video. There are many recipes available online for this type of buttercream. We give our recipe for our paid students, it's one of the perks of being a member.
