I'm so glad you like it. I think it would be so lovely for Spring. This piping nozzle or one similar is usually in most Russian piping sets, so I hope you can give it a try.

This cake is absolutely beautiful! 🌷 You inspired me to start and learn how to make Art out of baking 🥰 last Monday I made rose cupcakes and I was so surprised what a mess it has been in the kitchen 😅 also the buttercream was (of course) very very sweet, so it was not possible to eat more than one cupcake without getting sick, do you have any tips how I could avoid the buttercream becoming so sweet? Hey Lynz could you please tell me the best brand of Red and Black food colours?? I have tried sugarflair had to use the full bottle but still didn't achieved the perfect black. Also my red velvet cake taste bit funny with Sugarflair extra red. Please give me an advice 🙏

Gorgeous cake. I have not had very much luck with buttercream for the Russian piping tips. Do you make any changes with additional icing sugar to your buttercream recipe?

Hi Monique, I don't usually make any changes to my buttercream, this is the recipe that I always use kzbin.info/www/bejne/qnvChWyNf6qajsk I always find it works well for buttercream flowers. You just want to make sure it's been mixed long enough that it's nice and creamy and you push any air bubbles out before adding it to your piping bag.

I had problems as well ...so i think i will try again ..i noemally add a bit of water to mine but will leave this out see if this makes it hold the shape of the flower as it will be more stiff x
