I made it last week and it was amazing. But I sprinkled the oil and lemon juice on the plate before placing the thin cut meat so that the meat is completely coorperated with the lemon-oil mix. Awesome Channel here , mouthwatering moments ...

Aha, so thats the way to concoct a true Italian Carpaccio. I was told that one should freze the meat slightly, which enables one to cut thinner slices. But, as he points out, the xlices do not have to be impossibly thin. Mmmm. My mouth is watering. I am inspired!

Of course! At the end of the day, carpaccio is just raw sliced meat with some salt and pepper, lemon and olive oil. Then you serve it with whatever salad you want. I love it with just some rocket and parmesan shavings thrown on the beef. Amazing

I love this guy. I would give anything to learn from him. everything is so traditional and regional.. Im a little concerned that the traditional, simple, slow way of making Italian food is being forgotten. This gives me hope.... and now i want to eat carpaccio!
