HELLO EVERYONE!! TODAY I'M SHARING ONE OF MY FAMILY'S FAVORITE MEAL. I’ve made the recipe so simple to make for you and your family to enjoy. Love Y’all & Be Safe and Blessed ❤️❤️❤️
Beef Tips and Gravy Recipe
Ingredients:
4 lbs. Beef Stew Meat
1 box of Beefy Onion Soup Mix
1 Tablespoon Seasoned Salt
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
1/2 Tablespoon Black Pepper
1/2 Cup chopped Onions
4 or 5 Tablespoons Canola Oil
All Purpose Flour (Amount Optional)
2 cans of Beef Broth or 1 container
2 or 4 Tablespoons Cornstarch or Flour
2 or 4 Tablespoons Water
When cooking your rice make sure to follow the instruction on the box or package.

I know you're a real cook when you use cornstarch in your gravy to thicken it, I grew up most black people use old fashioned flour gravy, don't get me wrong it's good but cornstarch to me makes a lighter smoother gravy. I just subscribed 🎉

My mother always rinsed her meat. She said that since she grew up on a farm in the 30s, she had seen and participated in the butchering process. So she always washed meat to remove any carryover or leftover debris from cutting up a large amount of meat. Today, I don't know who butchers my meat. So I too wash it to rinse off anything that might be left from the wholesale butchering process. Of course, my hands and sink are clean.

Hey Ms. Brenda.. how do we know when to use corn starch and when to use flour? I'm asking for any meal, not just this one.

Hey Ms Tiffany. The reason I say you can use either one is: Some people are on special diets and can’t have flour so they can use cornstarch which is gluten-free. I usually adds flour to thicken my gravy but I was letting everyone know that cornstarch is another alternative. It’s really your choice of either thickener. Thanks for your support.
