Thank you for the detailed video on making stamps. The part I missed was seeing each and every tool you used and how they contributed to the finished piece. Also, seeing the carving in real time would help.

Beautiful stamps. I make double ended stamps on a rectangle 1" x 2.5" log to save space for storing them.

Excellent video. Short and to the point. I especially appreciated you explaining the interlocking aspect and how to achieve that. Thank you for showing how you mark the leather hard piece of clay before you begin the carving. I agree with others that your video is one of the best on topic, Please make more on stamps, sprigue molds, making feet/decorate elements to pieces. Subscribed and liked!

I really liked this video, but the part I was most interested in is the part that you put in fast motion 😂 Would love to see the carving of the stamp in real time 👍

Hi, making a name stamp would it be same process? Is there an alternative engraving tool available in kitchen/home one can use? Would you make a tutorial for this?

If you made a block and carved the design you want, can you pour silicone to make a texture sheet?
@ericspecht8860 Жыл бұрын
You can use an RTV rubber from a company like Smooth-On to make a texture sheet. You can also use the RTV to make a mold of your completed stamp and then fill the mold with 2 part liquid plastic resin to duplicate your stamp as many times as you want. RTV doesn't set up well in the presence of sulfur so make sure your clay is sulfur free or buy a small block of sulfur free modeling clay and use it to make your texture sheet.
