Is that a countersink bit? And countersink screws? I don’t know if I have that bit….. can I do this with normal screws and bits? Do I predrill all the way through the wood?

Countersink bits are inexpensive and easy to find, but yes, you can still make a countersink if you have a basic drill bit set. Drill your pilot hole first, google a pilot hole size cheat sheet. Depth only needs to be the length of your screw. I use painters tape on my drill bit as a depth guide. Depending on what type of screw head you're going with, match up a larger drill bit around the same size and drill your countersink over the pilot hole. Save yourself the time and pick up an FTG USA countersink set. (Plug cutter is another handy drill bit to have)

Bruh this is honestly so simple I wouldn't even call it woodworking. Don't expect to make a single thing in your life if you aren't willing to buy a drill and screws. At home depot when buying lumber they let you use the miter saw... you could easily do it with a hand saw

Where do you live? If the US, then Home Depot’s have chop saws inside where you can cut your pieces to length. Then you just need a drill, to drill the “pilot holes” which means you’re pre drilling the wood where the screw is gonna go so that when you screw the actual screw in it doesn’t split the wood. It’s not as complicated as you think I promise lol
