Hey Gina! I just made this soup two nights ago. I’m reheating it tonight for dinner. I used a little velveeta for its melting consistency and mild cheddar. I served it in bread bowls I made with pizza dough 😋

I just made this soup using canned broccoli cheddar soup recipe for chicken divan , using cooked chicken and veggie tray broccoli. I cooked the broccoli in microwave for seven minutes. Served with precooked rice and crusty bread it was delicious.

You can cook the broccoli stems ahead of time as stock for the soup. This will definitely enhance the flavor of the broccoli 🥦 soup. If you finely shred it,it will definitely give flavor to the soup.

I live in Arizona, originally from N. California by the coast. The family I live with don't eat soups, weather too hot but they eat hit dinners (???). I love making soups and breads. So, if they don't want soups I will make enough for two and keep it to myself. I wi eat soup, rain or shine, hot or cold. I can make yourrecipe in half, I'm sure. I'm so glad I found your video while I was making the soup. I used fresh broccoli florets. I didn't have carrots or heavy cream on hand. BUT, other than that I took heed of your recommendations.
