So after the chipped plastic is mixed with the sand, what is mixed with those two materials to push out the paste? Then when the paste is placed in the press, what makes it solid? Heat? Is it baked? Am asking as I would like to try to build this myself and help save my country too... Help me understand plz 🙏🏽

@duongchau43714 ай бұрын
the first stage they heat the sand and plastic mixture to get the paste, then pour into the mold and compressed in high pressure

I know many people here are happy to see that plastics are recycled and used as a product like brick. But did you consider what would happen to it at the end of life (EOL)? Now the brick is a mix of sand and plastic, and you cannot separate the plastic and sand at its end of life; imagine if these bricks go into a landfill, further the possibility of chemical leaching, microplastics release into drains or storm-water, the problems that we leave to next generation. Any new product without keeping in mind the EOL of the product is more dangerous. Try keeping the product as virgin as possible and see if it can be reprocessed/moulded into the same/similar product at the EOL.

I work in this field and I can say the following to your question: The plastic waste that comes to you must be sorted, good plastic into garnules, average and dirty plastic into polymer gerbil, plastic is difficult and expensive to process into pyrolysis or burn in ovens. The polymer sand material does not have an end of life (EOL), because from this material (polymer sand-EOL it is possible to restart and obtain a new polymer sand product.
