Yup, it's like starting a totally different game once you beat the campaign. There's a lot to learn but just enjoy the game and start putting together some basic builds. You'll learn a lot by just playing the game and trying different weapon, skills, gear sets, etc.

I can say I am no longer beginner player in this game but I still manage to find myself so lost when it comes to builds, feeling like a headless chicken, everything feels so over-mega-whelming. There’s just a lot to learn in this game. Once you start making different types of builds then you’ll be able to recognize talents and attributes that benefit a specific build or play style. Trouble is in the very early stages of the game when you have little gear you are cut down all the time in attempting to complete the missions, to get the kit. The A.I clearly fails to reduce it's ability to allow you to survive, and player death is far to often.

Ive played both divisions very casually and never got into high tier end game stuff like builds and exotic loot and what not. Ive recently hopped back into this game and im essentially trying my best to learn and understand it. Also my personal life has made finding the time to play very very difficult which sucks. But ive been desperately trying to grind whenever I do have time. Ive recently restarted back to zero as ive switched to PC so hopefully this knowledge will help once I catch up to my xbox account.

I think another good video would be an explanation of what players can do with the exotic they get that is all around shit in stats :D It's not always clear at the blueprint merchant about which guns you own can have alternates crafted, etc.

Great video. Clear and concise. One aspect you did not mention though is Specialization choice. It's key to any build and specific to each type, i.e. DPS/SKILL/TANK. Perhaps you can add an explanation in the written description or link to another of your videos where you go over them. Otherwise, well done!

I think 30 is the max level if you don't have the WONY dlc, level 40 is the max with the dlc. You'll have to grind through the 5 World Tiers if you don't have the dlc, so do the invaded missions to get higher gear score weapons and armor.

Thankyou!!!!! I've been searching around yt for someone to explain this so i understand it. Perfect upload, so i subbed so i can watch more if needed. I'm level 16 Lieutenant and never played a loot game before, so this is mind boggling for me. I've obviously not yet finished the main game (I think lol) i still have the manhunt to do for Jupiter and her crew. I'm still not really sure exactly when i need to worry about this. At moment my gear is all The blue strikers gear, because i thought we needed all the set. Now i know you don't it widens my loot option's. I play single and my second gun is always shot gun coz i like the near combat style, but when I'm done with main game and understand the equipment I'll go into pvp in dark zone or, and help other players grind threw the mission. Again thanks man, and sorry for long comment lol.
