Such a great tutorial!! Hot glue wasn't working for me so I used thin wire cut to size and twisted to secure the feathers together at 3 intervals up the length of them.

@@TheAuroraGalore Hey doll ☺️ I’m in Scotland and I’m really struggling to find reliable feather suppliers shipping within or to the UK (Brexit is a likely factor lol). Where have you been sourcing yours of late? You mentioned the Chinese wholesaler but when I’ve looked at various sellers, the quality seems to vary between them massively! Do you have a preferred seller on there? ☺️ Thanks! xx

@ilovevanity1 Hey sadly I have moved countries thanks to Brexit/Pandemic! So I am not quite sure anymore. Sorry!

Hiii Awesome tutorial💖 Just questions how big are your feathers and staves for this feather fans?
@horrorderz6 жыл бұрын
I haven't tried this just yet but I think fishing wire would be good to secure the feathers. Thanks for sharing!

Do you recall from which shop/seller you got these? I'm looking around on Aliexpress but the prices are almost the same. And I don't want to end up with thin ugly feathers :(

Hi Aurora, I want to build pleasant feather fans and they have different staves. Do you know how I can build such a fan or do you know anybody who can help me?

I've tried to get custom feather fans but finding it difficult so think I'm having to end up making them myself do You have any advice on dying feathers I'm looking to get some feathers going from red to yellow tips. Great video btw thank you for makeup it xx
@TheAuroraGalore7 жыл бұрын
No worries! Your welcome - I am not too good on the dying knowledge but I am pretty sure it is a similar process to dying fabric. I would youtube search it to see if there is a similar substance being dyed :) x

Aurora Galore thank you aurora I did just that yesterday had a Google and a KZbin search and having a good think how I'm going to go about making the custom fans I want been a pain in the bum one of the suppliers you mentioned said she would make my fans then ignored me so I've taken it upon myself to just make them xx
@TheAuroraGalore7 жыл бұрын
If you feel confident - then definitely make them yourself. They may not have ignored you. Most custom costumiers are independent sellers so they are just a one man band and are very busy so I wouldn't take it personally my lovely ❤
@Sweetpealolly7 жыл бұрын
Aurora Galore haha they definitely ignored me it's fine though il work it out I usually do lol thank you for your help though I need to put my fan dancing lesson (I had from your lovely self) back into practice for my act I'm working on thanks again for replying xx

Thanks for the tutorial! Do these close/fold up all the way or only afar as you showed? Also what type of staves do you prefer (sounded like plastic but no idea how expensive or hard to get)?
