I just made my own cash envelopes for the first time. I spent $0. Instead of throwing away my 2019 dogs calendar, I tore away each month's sheet and folded in half and cut them accordingly to fit cash bills. I used scotch tape to seal the sides and labeled each one of my categories. Voila! Now I can continue seeing these adorable dogs faces for another year 🐶.

You can also use clear contact paper as a substitute for laminating.

I have found this video after figuring out I don't have the budget to keep buying pre-made envelopes for all of my categories. This helps so much as a laminating machine is on my birthday list. Thank you 💜

Dollar store contact paper is strong and work great for covering paper. It softens the patterns some though. And it is repositional

Office Depot usually has semi hard plastic envelopes with a pocket for sale for no more than a dollar each. I bought a cute holo set awhile back that included a regular sized folder, mid sized envelope and a money sized envelope for fifty cents. But I like to make my own stuff too!

I used some mailing envelopes and just trimmed them down to size. Decorated with washi tape and the covered with clear packing tape to protect it.

You should put a little piece of labeling tape on each envelope and give that specific envelope a job. Like one envelope could be for gas. Another could be for groceries, etc. It's just a suggestion. I thought it could help others with "scatter brain" such as myself. 😅🤗
