So cute! Probably much healthier than the store bought ones. I read the ingredients on Temptations Treats and it had CHEESE in it. FREAKIN CHEESE!!! Cheese is SUPER unhealthy for cats, so I stopped feeding my cuties that. I just give them turkey pieces and they love it even more than the real treats. I can't wait to try this out!

pretty cool a must try , I know one cat I have will eat almost any thing , the other four well they are a bit more picky eaters . So will give it a go and see if the picky ones eat them. If not the cat that is not picky will.

Save the tuna for the humans. The oil is normally discarded anyway. Also, the treats will not last very long if you put tuna in it.

that's a sweet idea and your daughter did a great job BUT none of these ingredients are suitable for cats (except for the tuna) not even as treats.cat should not eat any kinds of grain, including corn, only rice in a very small amount and also vegetable oil is not good for them. an please don't use food coloring o.O

Nutritionally speaking - oats, wheat flour, and cornmeal are actually NOT good for cats. Simply put, grains have no nutritional value to an obligate carnivore (which is what a cat is) and while they may not be too harmful in very small amounts, they certainly aren't beneficial, and can be harmful if fed in large amounts over time (ie. most commercial pet foods). If you're just looking at health and nutrition, plain chicken (or another meat) is a MUCH better 'treat' for our carnivorous felines ;)
