My thanks to your Mum for sharing her recipes. Already salivating from the looks of it(good video). I love the fragrant of lemongrass paste. I would try it soon but without the chic liver(not a fan). Please continue to make more videos. It is good to cherish our heritage and honor our mothers.

This was an awesome video. Perhaps you can find a way to do subtitles. That would be super helpful. I'm in the kitchen now ready to prepare this meal.
@juliemak91448 жыл бұрын
hey, would there be a difference in flavor if i cook the meat with the lemon grass paste ? seems to me that if i were to cook it together the flavor of the lemon grass and etc. would be more intense in the chicken rather cooking the paste separately in the beginning.
@MomsCambodianRecipes8 жыл бұрын
+Julez Mak It won't be. You want to bring out the flavors of the paste and then add the meat. This is the correct process to bring out the best flavors.
@SDGRL6910 жыл бұрын
can you ask your mom why some people stir-fry the lemongrass paste first then add chicken? does it make a difference if they add the paste first or chicken first?
@MomsCambodianRecipes10 жыл бұрын
SDGRL69 I think she explained that in the video. Or it may of been in another video. It brings out the flavors and oils from the paste. In Cambodian she says chnoy/chanuy. Hope that makes sense.
