I like how you can make a short video and explain how things are done where people can comprehend. Unlike like others how they blah blah blah blah and take 12mins explaining for something simple, awesome channel

Don't know if you go back to old videos. But, I tested this process out over the weekend. Works great, so I added the tin to my pack. Keep them coming, love the scientific explanations.

How long can you carry the charcloth or charkwood before you can no longer turn them into embers?

Why carry charcloth? If your going to carry it you might as well just bring something else that catches fire right away instead of doing the work and carrying a cloth that will fall apart or absorb moisture !

Nice video man, great tip about letting it cool first. My first attempts at making char cloth went up in flames. I tipped the tin out immediately and it instantly burst into flames

Thanks m8, for sure making some of this. I was out the other night and we found no tinder at all. Luckily I had some toilet paper in my little survival-box-thing, and the day was saved.

You should do a piece on your clothing (if you haven't yet - haven't seen all your videos yet!). Your gloves, kneepads, and more tactical clothing seems just as purpose-built as your kit.

I'm a kid who knows a pretty good deal about survival but what do u suggest as a weapon against animals that is legal in the US?

Manufacture a spear out of a straight piece of wood, harden the tip with fire and use a very tapered point to prevent breaking. Spears are better as they are simply to use and keep the animal at a distance, can be braced on the ground should an animal charge.

I can't think of a single man-portable weapon that isn't legal _somewhere_ in the US. I think switchblades aren't federally banned at least, and that's about all that comes to mind.
