My girlfriend is going to appreciate this, she's a trans woman and just started using wigs! I'm going to try and make sure she doesn't ruin them, even if they are cheap haha!
@DoItWrightRo11 күн бұрын
I ruined one of mine because I didn’t follow her instructions with the scissors. This time I did it to a brand new wig. I was so hesitant because I didn’t want to ruin it. When I tell you….. it feels like butter!!!! it thinned it out but not too much because I like a natural density.

Girl! Thank you! I bought a wig and with so little time I didn’t have time to book a stylist. So I did it myself. It was looking decent but I was like it still looks a little bit “wiggy”. I pulled some hairs out of that part and baby I cant get out the mirror. Mind you it the same wig I previously had my stylist install and you can tell me she didn’t install this one. Mine isn’t synthetic but you helped me so much. Im so happy my bf’s bday is this weekend and I’m looking goodT! 😂

@hilarykelcy8145 ай бұрын
It was 1 year ago & no comment. When the cap is too big you can cut it around the ears & there’s videos about that & sew in an extra elastic band to make it fit smaller. Figure out your size to get smaller wigs in the future

Newbie here. TY so much for this tutorial. I really needed this. Can you do a tut on thinning an entire wig. I have this gorgeous wig that I love. The curl the layers the part are gr8. I, being a novice cut to much lace and now it slips severely. Plus its so thick it makes a hump right in top of my head and the hair around my face make me feel like I'm being suffocated..lol 😆. HELP, PLZ help s sista out?? I dont think I can put any heat on it bcus there is no indication anywhere on the packaging that heat can be used so thinning it out is my only option.
