Very nice! Do I understand it correct, that you place the liquid mask on spots where you don´t want to have the latex rubber?

Thank you, the mask serves as an alternative to the rubber. I just used a little bit of the mask and more of the rubber instead. They work the same with the sand mixed in it.

What is the use of the sand if you put it in the masking fluid and later peel it of? Great work and great inspiration. Will certainly inspire me to complete a tugboat i want to wheather.

The sand will help peel the rubber off but also adds additional texture with the rubber you leave on there. It simulates peeled old paint.
