Hi hi May 😊 yes, fondant can't be refrigerated.. just keep it in a closed cake box after drying it in AC room.. I always use buttercream for fondant cakes or cupcakes, and it's okay to just keep it in AC room overnight (I mean, the cream won't melt ). I baked the cake and made the cream 1 day before it was delivered, so the next day the cake was still moist and delicious even though I kept it in the AC room 😊👍 Thanks for watching, May 💕💕

We are still in the pandemic situation too. We're hoping for restrictions to be relaxed for Christmas but will mean bigger restrictions in January. It's making christmas shopping a little more difficult 😏 really hoping for snow ⛄⛄

Hi Queen 😊 In my local climate, tropical climate with hot weather, I can't keep fondant cakes or fondant cupcakes in the fridge, the fondant will get wet when I bring it to room temperature... But I heard bakers in other climates can store fondant cakes in the fridge . I keep my fondant toppers, fondant cakes and cupcakes in an AC room and it can keep the fondant dry😊

Hi Jassmeet 😊 For this design especially, I will make the cupcake topper first, then keep them in a tightly closed container before the fondant dries/harden, so the fondant is still elastic, because if fondant has dried, the shape will be just straight and flat, not convex. Another way, you can make the cupcakes first, then cover the cupcake with buttercream and fondant toppers 😊

@@delightcakesandbakes No, for this design do not dry/harden the topper. After making the topper, just keep it in a closed box when it is still moist, do not dry/harden it.. Because, if you dried it first, it will be dried flat and I think its not beautiful on a cupcake..
