Thank you! you don't skip the small "basic" parts in your vids and that makes all the difference for a learner :)

Nathaniel, you make wonderful tutorials that are very (relatively for me ) easy to follow - so thanks a Mil.. my new learning came in the form of the "graph editor". Cheers and God Bless. Pete

The Control button - Double Click Pan Behind for the anchor point was nice.
@tutvid6 жыл бұрын
It's one of those little things. It would actually be nice to have some kind of button that didn't take some elaborate hotkey PLUS double-clicking a tool, but we'll have to wait on Adobe for that one.

Just the right video I needed, out curiosity have you done a video covering the basics of After Effects? Only just used it for the first time the other day and could do with an overview

Are you manually adding the mouse pointer zooms using track motion and a template, or is it a built in feature of your screen recording software?
@tutvid6 жыл бұрын
Neither. It's an app for Mac called "Zoom It" and I have my function key + Z programmed to make it appear so I can easily pop it up while recording.

Hi, great video! Is there a particular reason that you choose to use the 2560 x 1440 aspect ratio?
@tutvid6 жыл бұрын
Not really. I've just been loving the 2k resolution lately for a lot of beginning projects. If I was making this for myself or a client, I'd start at at least a full 4k resolution.

how come we get this super awesome tutorial work for free? I still can't justify why there are people that are so kind, giving away skills

I absolutely love TutVid, watch almost all of his tutorials, and follow on Instagram, he is fantastic. He is a great teacher, good pace, good use of hotkeys, excellent narration. BUT- and no offense, you are being naive if you believe KZbinrs like TutVid do this for free. Nothing is free. The whole game is about hits, followers, engagements, interaction, selling products, affiliates, etc. If Freud were here right now, he would probably say this is a subconscious comment to get people to take a look at my page.

Hi - Love your videos just wondering - Why do you use 60 fps and 2560x1440? What format will that fit for? TV? Web, KZbin? Thanks!
@tutvid6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Mel! I go 60fps just because it's different. I do 2560x1440 because it's 2k. A nice stop off between stand HD and 4k :D

Great Tutorial! . Why do you use 60 fps and 2560x1440? Thanks

I suppose it gives you more flexibility when it comes to scaling the animation later on

Anyone know why he works at 60fps instead of 25-30fps? I know 60fps is good for slow-mo, but he's not doing slow-mo.
