@@boardgameprojects absolutely! I came up with an idea for pop up book series. But instead of a book it’s castles, caves and dungeons that pop up that D&D players can go through their adventures on. Maybe you can run with the idea.

Presumably if you place the snap further form the edge you get a deeper bowl?

The bottom would be more curved, yes. I'm not sure that it would be too much deeper. It worth a try though! Let me know how it goes!

What’s the thickness of the felt you use please?

It's on the thicker side for sure. I believe its 4mm thick. At my local craft stores the normal thickness is less than 4mm, but they typically have some larger sheets that are 4mm.
