I have FOL. Fear of Listing. I have been designing and creating mock-ups and ol listing photos. But then figuring out pricing and detailing the actual listing holds me back. Anyone else feel like this? How does one overcome this. Just do it. I know.

I know! And I also have to watch the money very closely. I watched one video (don't remember whose) and they said to have about $15 saved to back every $20/$22 T-Shirt you're selling when you first start out and don't have the cash flow yet. I'd love to see Heather make a video on that!

If you're talking about Etsy listing, I've seen many top sellers say DON'T PRICE LOW. PRICE LIKE OTHER SELLERS BECAUSE LOWER PRICING MAKES THE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS THINK YOUR PRODUCT IS LOW QUALITY.

Omg! That's me too!! I have thousands of creations upscaled and ready, but have fear of listing too! I've listed some on FineArtAmerica because it's all filled in by AI (tags, descriptions) but I have only listed a few on Etsy., which is where the sales are much more likely.

Hi Heather, do you have a KZbin video about your finance tracker excel sheet? Or have you talked about it before? 😅 I want to know how to use it before purchasing. Do I type in my profit after every purchase or it’s automated. Sorry, I’m just curious about it. Was thinking of using it for my other small business and not on POD, as I haven’t started on POD yet. The problem with shipping and not having "free shipping" is that both Etsy and customers will always prefer free. So that can and will affect profit. Make sure you look to see if the highest sellers are using free shipping and what their price is etc. That profit can dissipate fast with shipping costs.

Hi I have had an Etsy for 13 years all hand made, items in my studio. Is it impossible to think that you can have a decent income on handmade or does everything have to go out to be printed by somebody else?

That ornament you showed from Printed Mint is glass NOT acrylic! The beveled edge is not on the acrylic.

I have been watching your videos for a while now so do you have different stores for different products? For instance I’ve mainly been doing mugs but I just watched your ornaments video and want to do those should I make a separate Etsy shop for the ornament? I have printify and opened 3 stores 1 for mugs, 1 for tees and hoodies, and 1 for baby onesies. If I add candles and ornaments, would I have to open another store for my printfy pop up shop store?

Yes, I do have multiple product types in one store! It helps to scale out your shop with multiple product types. I understand the idea that it may feel like a 'yard sale' but a lot of big Etsy shops do this as well with multiple product types. Hopefully this helps and thanks for watching! ❤

With cards.. I ordered one once, and it was delivered to me creased and looked like an old card I had hanging around the house for years. I would hope the bundle multiple cards would have better shipping protection.

What worries me about selling T-shirts for example, is the potential returns. I sell shirts on Amazon and there are always holiday returns when people just wear them and return after the event :(

Yes! Multiple products/general shops are great to have on Etsy. You do not need the same product type and I always recommend 'scaling out' with taking a design that does well on one product to multiple product types. Hoping this helps and thanks for watching!❤

Creative Fabrica's license allows you to use any of their products, including for commercial purposes, as long as you add something to it. This is perfect for adding personalization.

Most product types on Etsy and over the e-commerce platforms are saturated by definition but that doesn't mean you can't create products and become a competing Etsy listing to the top of search! I personally have entered 'saturated' markets in multiple product types and have gotten bestseller listings. I think the thing that is nice about Etsy is they try to circulate in new listings because customers always are looking for something unique, different or new. It's possible to enter a crowded market and still rise to the top in any product category. I see it every month and year that I do my research and find hundreds of listings that were listed within 6 months become bestsellers. Etsy likes new listings so hopefully this provides some peace of mind and inspiration to try out products that may seem like a tough market to enter! Great question and thanks for watching!❤
