I did this messed up my efile but it was super old and a cheap one so I went to Walmart got me a 12 dollar efile and got me a grinder off Amazon for about $20 I think cheaper works amazing!

A low tech way to grind and mix the chalk and powder is a metal mesh strainer. Just put the strainer order your container and rub the chalk against it. It will grind evenly. Then just use the strainer to mix the the chalk and powder. The strainer will sift out any chunks.

I use pigment powders and mica powders... No lumps

I think if it were just white it would give it more of a pastel effect but I'm definitely going to try it to see what happens.
