How To Make Conger Eel Rigs - Sea Fishing Rigs

These are my favourite rigs for fishing for conger eels. Very simple and very strong. I have landed hundreds of conger eels on these rigs up to 60+lbs both inshore and offshore and you will see them put to great use in my wreck fishing videos catching conger and ling.

24lb ling on my copy of your trace today to partner a 19lb one I had on the wrecking rig an hour or so earlier. I made my trace with fine wire and crimps but otherwise the same. Thanks to your instruction I was the only one getting double figure fish, cheers John.

How heavy is weight when catching Conger Eels? Is the weight always at the bottom, or do you lift it a little from the bottom? Thank you for the answer and have a nice day? Viljem
