This is so helpful! I wasn't sure what type boning I wanted to put in the stays I'm making, and this is helping me make a more informed decision!

Thank you for such clear explanations of each product and demonstrations of how they flex etc. Extremely useful.

Thank You for this video! I've been wanting to make my own graduation dress ( Class of 21' ) and wanted it to have a corset top to my dress but want to be more knowledgeable on boning and what would be best to use. This taught me new things such as how to cut then properly, there being different types of boning but also it's use in it. I also appreciate how much detail you want into this video. Thank You for this video! Tataa,Take care and God Bless!

Thanks for showing so much detail! I'm making a set of 18th stays, and I know I can't get baleen, but want the flex to be as close as possible- I can't find a video of anyone demonstrating the flex of baleen... Very frustrating! Anyway, I really enjoyed that you showed the flexibility of all your options!

Baleen has the same flex a spiral steel boning - it can flex in every direction! I have a couple of pieces of original baleen from a vintage corset, so I have handled it.
