The answer seems obvious, but I'll ask anyway. Even though the spring steel bones are wound on a coil, they will straighten up as soon as you unroll and cut it? And if so, how do you keep your coil from completely unrolling when you're trying to cut off a piece?

When you get the coil it will be secured with cable ties and there will be a note "Do Not Cut Ties" ...just feed the hoop wire out and don't cut the ties. You may need to tighten them once you've got what you need.
