I made it tonight 4/22/23 as a test run for an event we're having next Sunday. It is 🔥... the one takeaway is that I will use the whole corn instead of the cream style. Just my preference. But oh my, it's delish😋😋

I think the only difference between whole versus cream style is simply the addition of corn starch... thats it

i like your recipe a lot, but.... heat that cast iron skillet up with some bacon fat and pour the batter in, then bake. this gives a rocking crust, plus it's adds BACON! keep up the good work!
